Medicare Fraud Affects Everyone
Everyone has a stake in protecting the Medicare Trust Fund. Would you like to be a better consumer and learn about Medicare Fraud and Abuse?
Now you can lean how to detect Medicare fraud and abuse with the Indiana SMP program (formerly Senior ESP). The IAAAA Education
Institute and its partners will provide the training. Volunteers will be trained here
in Indianapolis and around the state. Those trained will learn how
to read a Medicare Summary Notice, and what steps to take if a billing
error is found.
Volunteer Partners in the Indiana SMP program include Indiana's Area Agencies on Aging, Indiana Family Social Services Administration, Indiana State Medical Association and Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) of the Indiana Department of Insurance.
